School Life
Learning together. Making things. Asking questions. Growing up.

A Day at Dawn Treader
Not a rigid schedule.
School doesn't always look like bells ringing every 50 minutes. Students move between direct instruction, discussion, independent work, labs, art, and reading as the needs of the day--and the students--require.

Learning Looks Like this

READING & DISCUSSION
A senior helps middle schoolers review for a science test.
(They all passed, so she did a good job!)

EXPERIMENTING & DISCOVERING
Using hammers and vinegar to replicate weathering. That poor limestone!

MAKING & CREATING
Students painting and sharing stories around the watercolor.
